Updates from Chris Grace (including a Patreon launch!)

Happy May!

I hope this finds you well, friend, it's been a little while.

The big news is I have launched a Patreon!

You know how you're a huge supporter of mine but you also have an extra $4/$8/$18/$88 in your pocket every month? Well I have the solution for you! Join my Patreon to support my comedy and theater, and I think I've got some pretty compelling rewards for you if you do:

• access to my private Discord where you can hear my actual opinions about theater, television, movies, video games, music, and more

• an invite to a monthly Zoom to chat about anything, catch up on each others projects, and hang with cool friends

• early and unedited access to podcast interviews, vlogs, sketches, audiodramas, and more

• play Blood on the Clocktower with Chris (and special guests!), or join the weekly Book Club, or even get a personal one-on-one consulting Zoom with Chris once a month

Not to worry, I will still be pushing out this newsletter and it'll never cost you a dime! But I would greatly appreciate if you consider supporting my Patreon by taking a look at the tiers and choosing one that fits in your budget.

And now, here's a 10-minute video where I go more indepth as to why I started a Patreon and why I think you will enjoy being a member.

And here are some fun things I wanted to share with you!

• Not to toot my own horn, but this was one of the first things I ever edited and I'm still happy with how it came out

• This guy solves cryptic-type crosswords and this is a mesmerizing walkthrough as he grinds through a pretty tough one... super fun to follow along with, I got a few of them ahead of him but generally was stumped

• The new Billie Eilish album is tremendous! But even more enjoyable is this trio's reaction to my favorite track on the album, and one specific beat drop. (And meanwhile I'm bookmarking this... Billie and Finneas talking about every track on the album)

• Eric and I were in NYC last week and saw Merrily We Roll Along which was amazing, and now this documentary about the original production is on my "to watch" list.

Always your pal,

Chris

Hi everyone, it's 11pm on Tuesday night of the election. Eric and I went out to dinner and to play pinball because I didn't want to watch election news. I must admit, I had a weird feeling that it wasn't going to turn out well. I don't know what that was based on and it very well could be hindsight-tinged. Luckily I didn't waste the night refreshing! I'm about to go to bed. And I fully recognize that I might wake up and all of this will be unnecessary. Would love that for all of us! But if...

Things I've Learned From Talking to British People This Week Hello pal! I'm in Edinburgh Scotland and nearly completed the first week of Fringe. I did FIVE shows yesterday. I'm pretty tired but exhilarated too, my show Chris Grace: As Scarlett Johansson had a sell out show four days in! More on that later, but in the meantime:I've been sending out digital assets and emailing back and forth with vendors in Edinburgh this week in boosting marketing campaigns for Fringe, and I've picked up some...
